Pastor
Lyndol Loyd is the lead pastor of LifeSong Church. Lyndol was raised in Wheeler, Texas and is a graduate of Texas Tech University (Go Red Raiders!) Lyndol has Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. Lyndol is married to Joni (yes, he married over his head) and they have two beautiful daughters, Abigail & Madeline. Lyndol enjoys spending time with family by doing things like camping, watching movies and going to Disney World.

Director of Life Groups
Joni Loyd is the director of Life Groups and assists with new member ministry for Lifesong. Joni is a native of Coshocton, Ohio and has degrees in social work and counseling from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and Asbury Theological Seminary. She is married to Lyndol and together they love being the parents of Abigail and Madeline. Joni enjoys singing, loves to read when she has the time and is the world’s biggest Super Target fan (just ask Lyndol.)

LifeSong Receptionist
Mindy was born in the ‘WHO DAT NATION’ – New Orleans, Louisiana and is the eldest of four daughters. She claims that is why her Dad has so many gray hairs! As a result of her Dad being in the Military, Mindy and her family traveled around the world most of her childhood. She met her husband, Jim, in 2004 and it was love at first sight ♥ They were married in 2006 and were blessed with the birth of their son, James, in 2007. Mindy enjoys traveling, working out, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

Financial Administrator
Chuck was born in Minneapolis MN. and moved to Orlando at the age of three. He graduated from Boone H. S. in 1974 and UCF with degrees in Finance and Marketing in 1978.  He than worked for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority in Finance and Executive Administration until retiring in 2008. Chuck is married to his lovely wife of over 23 years Debbie (Go Gators) and has two children Jason and Tori  who is currently a Jr. at UCF. Chuck loves outdoor activities including biking, fishing, swimming, diving, golf, jet skiing, and snow skiing.

Youth Leader

Logan Harris is the Youth Leader at LifeSong Church. Logan was raised in Port Charlotte, Florida and is currently a sophomore at University of Central Florida (U-C-F, Go Knights!) Logan is seeking a B.A. degree in religious studies, and is then transferring to a seminary school for a degree in Ministry and Theology. Logan has six brothers (yes all boys, and no girls; his poor mom!) and is the youngest of them all. Logan enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, and can't get enough of his video games.

Children's Director

April Smith is the Children’s Director for LifeSong. April was born and raised in Winter Haven, Fl. - a small town known for its citrus groves and beautiful chain of lakes. She has been married to her husband, Todd, for 14 years and together they have two beautiful children - Parker(8) and Abby (6). April has a degree in Nuclear Medicine from Hillsborough Community College and is a Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Arnold Palmer Hospital, were she has been on staff for over 10 years. April has a passion to help build personal relationships with families and children that draw them closer to each other and God. She has been active in committees serving the Stoneybrook homeowners association, as well as, the Wesley Child Development Center, and Orange County Public Schools. April enjoys spending time with her family, running, volunteering in her children’s school and neighborhood community, and photography.

Preschool Director
Kim Rop is the Director of the Preschool at LifeSong.  She was born and raised in the small town of Waddy, Kentucky.  She eventually met her future husband Jim who hales from Maryville, TN and is an avid UT fan – (Go Vols!)  Kim and Jim have three children, Cody, Taylor and most recently Katie who was adopted from China.  Each of their kids is about 7 years apart. That was planned so that they can clean up each other’s mess which helps a great deal.  She loves to change diapers, clean up spills and wipe runny noses and that’s just while she’s at work.  At home she likes to research family history, quilt and make stained glass panel

Nursery Director
Penny was born in New York. Her parents moved to Florida when she was three years of age. She has three wonderful children Cory 20, Cassie 17, and Blake who is 10. Penny worked at UCUMC preschool for 6 years.after leaving there she started working full time at Publix as a lunch meat and cheese clerk. Outside of work she spends her time with her own children and others as she is leader of Blake's Cub Scout Den. She found herself missing the preschool children and has found her way to the nursery at Lifesong.

Worship Leader
Stephen May serves as Worship Leader at LifeSong. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Stephen holds a Bachelor of Ministry in Modern Music from Visible School, a music and worship arts college in Memphis. He is married to his better half Nancy, who sings with the worship team and is a 5th and 6th grade teacher at International Community School. You may happen to see Stephen during the week at Arnold Palmer Hospital or Winnie Palmer Hospital, where he works as Trainer for the Guest Services department. He is a big music fan (obviously...), an avid reader, a news junkie, and a huge fan of LOST.
