It is the heart of University Carillon United Methodist Church in Oviedo, Florida, to help meet the needs of the ever growing East Orlando area. With the same pioneer spirit that began UCUMC fifteen years ago they have now launched LifeSong Church as an extension campus. Over 1,600 people worship at UCUMC each weekend in one of four worship services. Many of these people make the drive from the Waterford Lakes / Eastwood / Stoneybrook / Avalon Park corridor of Orlando. UCUMC is sending out 200-300 people to establish this new campus at the Alafaya Village shopping center, not to mention the considerable resources and support of the main campus in Oviedo.
